THE TRANSFORMATION OF KINGFISHER SUPERMODEL RADHIKA BOPAIAH

By P.T. Bopanna
There is a wrong assumption that a professional model only has a body and no mind. And if someone like my Facebook friend Radhika Bopaiah, once a Kingfisher model, the perception would be that she has a fab body and a lot of oomph, but zero intellect.
Radhika has just made a post on Facebook which proves she has a body, mind, oomph and intellect.
Her post says: “I just watched @davidattenborough’s World of Plants in 3D (for the sixth time) and I’ve been sitting with this thought: How come we rarely talk about these kinds of documentaries? I mean yeah, drama, action, fantasy, whatever, all great. But this world we’re in? It’s the WILDEST fantasy of all.
There are birds that migrate across continents without a GPS, plants that communicate underground, And humans quietly bringing extinct species back to life
And yet…We don’t talk about them.
Maybe we’ve just forgotten how to look.
So here’s me asking:
When was the last time you watched a documentary on animals? On plants? The ocean?
Do you have a favourite nature film or series?
Or a moment in the wild you’ll never forget? (Oooh I have many of those)
Drop it in the comments, Or send me one you love. let’s build a lil’ list together.
Not to be preachy, but maybe (just maybe) once in a while, We tune into the quiet magic around us.
It’s time we start noticing the real heroes. The shy ones. The ones that don’t demand attention but deserve it the most
Yeah, I’m up to something here, But I just don’t know what yet
