from Thithimathi side , he /she has to take the road towards Pollibetta and in the centre of Pollibetta town ,one has to take a right. For this the turn off to reach Thithimathi(Coorg) from Hunsur deviation is about 2 or 3 kms after Hunsur town bye pass.Travel on the Gonikoppa road and past the forest area and checkpoint known as Anne Chowcoor till you get to Thithimathi town.After the town, take a right turn towards Pollibetta(7Kms)Travel towards ‘Hundi'(about 6kms)from Pollibetta by turning right in the middle of Pollibetta town (-Visitors are advised to take this route only)
The estate gate from this side on the Pollibetta-Hundi road is on the right hand side after passing Hundi.
If one approaches Coorg on the Periyapatna -Sidapur road ,about 30 kms after Hunsur town Bye pass (which is in quite a mess since ages and visitors are advised not to travel on this route)he/she has to travel a distance of about 15 kms from Periyapatna town .The once picturesque drive after the Coorg border is now in shambles and visitors are ill advised to come on this road past Periyapatna town.If one does however make it past and get to Coorg from this side, thick bamboo forests and lofty hills greet the visitor after he touches the Coorg(Kodagu) side of the road.At Coorg near a town called Maldare(Sidapur road) the path becomes better and from Maldare at a distance of 5 kms (approx) there is a bus stop and a place which was once a” two horse town”” called Gattedhalla now overgrown with coffee bushes.At or before this(Gattedhalla) bus stop, take a left and travel a further distance of 6 Kms till you reach Hundi .The gate to the estate when approached from this place,happens to be on the left hand side.
