COORG-BORN SOCIAL MEDIA CELEBRITY KAVERI GANAPATHY IS A ROLE MODEL

By P.T. Bopanna
Prior to writing about my Facebook friend Charimanda Kaveri Ganapathy (in picture), I wish to note that her husband Lieutenant General Deepak Ahuja assumed charge recently as Director General of ordnance services.
Most of my waking hours, I spend scrolling Facebook to generate content for my various pages and groups. I never fail to notice the posts of Kaveri Ganapathy, who is a social media celebrity in her own right.
The messages posted by Kaveri, who is highly visible on Facebook, are known for promoting family values. There is no self-glorification involved in her posts (like most of us try to do). She does not confine her posts to her immediate family, but involves her ‘extended’ family – cats and dogs.
Kaveri’s comments on various issues are well-written in simple English and she manages to convey her dislike without any malice. Let her tribe increase.
Kaveri’s mother Bhavani Ganapathy, who passed away a few months ago, used to follow my posts and offer encouraging comments.
Kaveri was a model in her younger days. She has two daughters Kavia and Dia. Here is wishing Deepak Ahuja a successful tenure.
